Triangles and the Star of David symbol

When I began grounding Light through my body into the Earth, I was guided to find a
staff or a long stick, as though I needed some kind of extra connection into the Earth.
I duly met a local man who hand crafted such things from hazel wood. We met up in
an antique shop and he untied a long hessian sack and unveiled an assortment of
sticks; tall, short, ornately carved, painted and plain. I chose the tallest, plainest
one which called to me.

And so, I had my trusty hazel staff, my new outdoor friend. I had been visiting a field which had become quite special. A patch of heaven it seemed to me. It called to me in meditation. It was as if the land there wanted to work with me, wanted to teach me. And so, I would humbly visit and give thanks to the Earth and make my vessel available it felt, as a channel between Heaven and Earth.

When I brought my new staff along, Mother Earth seemed delighted. I was guided to push the staff into the ground with the top held close to my chest as though the staff were a
conductor, an extension of my heart through which Light could pass.

Then I was shown how with my feet set apart and the staff on the ground in front of
them, an equilateral triangle was formed. As time went by this flat based triangle
symbol became my connection to the feminine Earth. Not just through my feet on the
physical earth and the energies of my root, but also through deep feminine womb
energies anchored into the creative consciousness of the Earth.

Anchored into the Earth, heart activated, Mother could reach up through my heart to
the masculine cosmos which then served her the Light she requested.

Leaning back, I could feel the protective, rigid, encircling of the heavenly Light and saw
in my inner vision the inverted version of the triangle, representing the opposite
masculine pole.

By humbly acknowledging that I too am, in essence, an expression of this sacred
consciousness; by knowing I am nothing and everything all at once, Light would flow
through my heart in line with the intelligence of the Universe. I was a conduit, a
delivery channel to Mother Earth.

I sensed the horses and the birds, the trees and the waters knew more about what
was going on than I. And that was enough.

And then a few weeks later, in the same field, a brick appeared. One solitary,
apparently random brick and upon it the makers symbol of two intersecting triangles,
the symbols of my visions in the field.

I created this short video of my interpretations of the symbolism of the star of David
which then came to me.

And the brick turned upside down in my inner vision and showed the letter M inside
the star. The star of Mariam. A sacred feminine counterpart to the star of David.
Balance.

(note : I found out that a company called P & S Wood in West Bromwich manufactured
these bricks in 1884. The Star of David with a W in the centre was their trademark.)

Walking the walk : book launch

From time to time on a spiritual healing journey, some old limiting pattern of behaviour is untangled just enough so that there is the first possibility, the first scary glimmer, of perhaps being able to ‘do something differently’. To not do the same safe habitual thing which keeps you, in some way, smaller than the…

A Patch of heaven

Here’s a great little song I want to share for you to enjoy. It was written and performed by my old friend Mick Stoves. I recommend using headphones for the best listening experience. Staying at the home of our friend Tony, in the beautiful Cornish countryside last summer, Mick was inspired to write it after…
